Social and behavior change (SBC) is an effective tool for improving nutrition programs and outcomes across a range of sectors from agriculture to markets to health systems. This guide supports USAID staff who are involved in planning an evaluation, identifying evaluation objectives, and building an evaluation scope of work for an activity that uses SBC to improve multi-sectoral nutrition outcomes. It is not important for users to have a background in SBC, but they should be familiar with evaluation more broadly. The guide explains the finer points of evaluating SBC approaches and includes links to helpful general evaluation guidance.
