AESA Course Review: Guidelines
AESA invites extension practitioners, students, and faculty members to write a review of the courses or certifications (aside from university degrees) they have taken to enhance their competencies (knowledge and skills). The aim of writing course reviews is to ignite interest among extensionists in taking such courses to enhance their competencies. Please format your course reviews as follows:

The review:
- Write a short description of the course content and objectives to help the reader understand what knowledge and/or skills you have gained by taking this course.
- Describe the online learning method (synchronous, asynchronous, or blended) used in the course and the learner’s level (beginner, intermediate, or proficient).
- Discuss how the course is organized. Touch upon the presentation of quizzes, assignments, lecture format, peer interaction, and supplementary resources.
- Explain the grading process: passing percentages in quizzes and exams, evaluating assignments, and other mandatory activities required for certification. Were there any accessibility conditions?
- Briefly discuss the quality of information shared (through lectures), resource materials provided, questions asked (in quizzes), assignments, and evaluation and scoring.
- Write about the instructor’s teaching style and student engagement, avoiding personal attacks.
- Describe your personal enthusiasm, enjoyment, and interest that you had during the learning process. Was it exciting or painful to complete? Also explain the reason why you enrolled in this course (for fun, developing skills, knowledge, employability, etc.).
- Limit your review to 600–800 words.

- Share relevant course images as separate files, such as the course poster and intriguing screenshots from the material. Also, share your photo (preferably casual) and a short bio.
